How a Routine Traffic Stop Turns Into a Standoff

January 29, 2025 in Florida. An officer had pulled over a woman for running a stop sign. 

He had been sitting at a stop light and noticed a woman in a gold Cadillac leaving a nearby Circle K. As the Cadillac left the gas station, it failed to stop as it entered the roadway. 

The officer made a u-turn at the traffic light and pulled over the vehicle. When he contacted the driver, he requested her driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration.
