Not Guilty - Even After Cops Colluded Against Him

Umar Zameer was charged with first-degree murder after running over and killing a police officer, Constable Jeffrey Northrup, during an altercation in a parking garage in downtown Toronto. 

The officer was responding to another call when the incident occurred, leading to a high-profile legal case. Zameer pleaded not guilty, and the case brought forward discussions about police collusion, plain clothed officers and identifying themselves to a suspect.
